Install instructions

This may only be for tablet and Android, depends on how you pirate Kocho!

Tutorial for instalation:

1) Firstly, you need to download Kocho, sadly, Kocho is no longer available on the Play Store, so you will need to pirate the app.

I got it off of APKPure https://apkpure.com/kocho-play-make-visual-nov/io.kocho/amp don't worry, this website doesn't steal any information, I have used it plenty of times on my Android and never have I ever had any issue!

2) Extract the file

On my Android (I have no idea if this counts for other phones, I've only ever had a Motorola and an Android) I need to download the file specifically. Here's how to do that.

Go to files on your phone, on mine it is labelled as 'My Files', go to either Downloads or Installation Files and then click on Kocho, it'll come up with the option to download it or to not, click download. If it messes up and says you need to update it before downloading then maybe try again later (like try redownloading it from APKPure again... Bc I honestly do not know how to deal with that...)

3) Set up an account on Kocho if you haven't, it's really simple!

4) Download the Philo Phobia file, possibly download it to the Drive if you can, it's how I did it.

Extract the file on Drive or in general and then open it in Kocho, it'll come up with the option if you click it I think!

Once it's opened in Kocho a pop up may appear that says Add Novel or Cancel with the Philo Phobia icon above it, click Add Novel and then it'll be added to your library, now you can play whenever you want! Have fun and don't forget to join the Philo Phobia discord https://discord.gg/aZzkTdTBHc or just leave a comment on the game, it'll really help a lot and I love to see what opinions people have about my creations, thank you so much for downloading Philo Phobia and I hope to show more in the future! Thank you and bye!

This game is so amazing, the artwork is magnificent and it is immediately known that it was made wholeheartedly. And not even get me started on the uh credit songs. Honestly, this deserves more recognition. Also I've been recently getting many recommendations about this game so this is most certainly fucking awesome.

Wait... RECOMMENDATIONS?! THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFEEE!!!!!! Thanks about the compliment of the artwork! I've been making this for 5 years as a solo developer, the only person I've worked with was a person who wanted to translate it into Russian for the Russian viewers. To have actual people say such nice things to me is a blessing! Thank you, truly!

P.S: Day 1 has a lot more development in it, especially with lore and the artwork.

P.S.S: The credit song isn't mine and I got copyrighted for it, lmao...

Absolute cinema. And I don't even comment on itch.io that much. The artwork was what drawn me in. Its unique! And the credit songs... GOSH it didn't have to go as hard as it did. This game for how short it is deserved much more recognition.  Bravo. Cinema. Better than AA movies. Better than walking dead. Better than my crumbling sanity of itch.io doom scrolling

AAAAAAAAAAAA THANK YOU SO MUCHH!!!!! Honestly, the artwork is old, but Day 1 (the next game of this) has a refreshed version of the sprites and even more cutscenes. Honestly, the credit song isn't even mine, it's an instrumental to another song. I didn't expect someone to enjoy the demo so much! But I'm glad someone did. This really got me emotional, I'm trying so hard to get my game recognised by many, I've been doing this for 5 entire years, and to have such kind words said about it, it's honestly just so refreshing THANK YOUUUUU

Wait hold on hold on. 5 YEARS?! WELL, thats twist I didn't expect. But you know what, makes sense for how alive it feels. Even if the character does throw out sarcastic line one or two times lol. I think you're on the right track, i know a few people that might enjoy your work as well. I'll do my best to get it recognize. Just don't overwork yourself lol. Real life > random ahh strangers online telling you stuff. But I'm really excited for future development of this game. Just know you got a fan in me! (Ayo...)
